About Joy Cutrone
Joy founded Travel Fam to empower families to navigate the unique joys and challenges of traveling with young adults. With a background in Marketing and Content Creation, Joy has always been drawn to the intersection of connection and creativity. Her experiences as a co-parent of two intellectually curious kids inspired her to raise them in national park adventures and similarly expansive adventures. She loves creating tools that help families turn national park visits into meaningful journeys.
Joy’s approach is deeply rooted in her own values:
Family Connection: As a parent who has experienced the dynamic years of young adults emerging from childhood within the family system, Joy understands how travel can strengthen relationships during times of change.
Adventure and Reflection: Joy’s love for adventure has taken her from coast to canyon, across the North American continent and off into Park islands, where she finds rejuvenation and revitalization through both physical landscapes and inner reflection.
Environmental and Cultural Stewardship: Joy is committed to promoting responsible travel that respects both nature and culture and honoring the indigenous roots of U.S. National Parklands. This commitment stems from a deep respect for nature and animals and an elective collegiate education about Native America, which continues to inform Travel Fam’s mission.
